The Eilat Birds Festival package is by far the best quality package for Spring Birding in Israel today. Still, we take the time to go over the feedbacks and try to add and improve every year. For the first time in 2012 the festival will be based at Isrotel Red Sea Hotel. The Isrotel Red Sea Hotel is on Eilat’s south beach across the road from the wonderful Coral Beach. The hotel is at the foothills of the Eilat Mountains and is only a short cab ride from the city center. The Red Sea Birding package includes: - 7 nights at the Isrotel Red Sea Hotel on a B&B basis, upgrade to HB is available and highly recommended. - Free guided birding tours the whole week – Choose from several tours leaving the hotel every morning and afternoon. - Festival Banquet at the Red Sea Hotel. - All evening activities and lectures, a pass and a drink at the special birders pub every evening. - Special reduced fare for the festival specialty tours. Special WILDWINGS UK package: UK based company WildWings are offering complete birding packages including flights from the United Kingdom. Enjoy all that the Basic package offers plus a flight to Israel and the transfer to Eilat. The WildWings party will be accompanied by a leaser from the UK.

more information on the WildWings package and for booking check out: NEW in 2012 International Photography Workshop During the spring migration Eilat and southern Israel are a must stop site for northbound migrants. Many of these birds have just crossed the Sahara and are on a mad dash to feed. Every green spot in the Arava valley serves as a magnet to numerous birds offering ample photographic opportunities. The photography workshop will be led by award winning photographer Yossi Eshbol and top Israeli photographer Roni Livne. During the week participants will photograph birds at various locations, each offering a different aspect of photography, and different birds. We will use hides, camo gear and various other things to maximize the photo experience. Besides photographing from static locations the group will have opportunities to photograph raptor migration and many of the resident specialties. Every evening the group will go over the day’s adventures and discuss the various elements of photography. Also the group will have their own classroom which will be used in the evenings to work a bit with Photoshop and image editing to further add to the experience. The photography workshop includes:

Visitors choosing this option can stay elsewhere in Eilat and take part in any of the daily tours during the week, all the evening activities and join the Festival Specialty tours for a reduced fee.
