THE 3rd INTERNATIONAL SPRING MIGRATION FESTIVAL - 23-30 MARCH 2009
The International spring migration festival is organized by the Israel Ornithological Center and the International Birding and Research Center Eilat. The previous 2 festivals were a huge success and over 220 birders took part in the 2008 Eilat festival.
Festival visitors are free to choose from several guided daily tours covering the best birding hotspots in the southern Arava. Enjoy a hand's on ringing demonstration or join one of our unique identification workshops, in the field, led by some of the biggest names in WP Birdwatching. Explore Israel's special species or regions on one of the specialty tours.
Every evening you are welcome to have a drink and enjoy lectures and presentations from world renowned experts in their field.
This year's event is scheduled for the 23-30 March 2009, the peak week of Israel's spring migration.
You are welcome to bring your loved ones to enjoy the excellent hotel facilities and relax while the birders in the group rough it out in the field.
